Come winter time, our lake community hosts an abundance of social activities and festivities on the pier such as fireworks, winter lights and fire pits. Ice fishing, skating, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing are some of the winter activities enjoyed by all who live in town, as well as the many visitors.

Pogadl Park – 80 Acres of RecreationPogadl Park is Sylvan Lake's 80-acre sports and recreation park adjacent to Sixty West, directly across Memorial Drive along 60th Street.
It is the home of Sylvan Lake Gulls baseball team, where fans come from all over Alberta and beyond to visit watch a game! The park also includes the brand new Co-operators Play Zone Spray Park and Playground. You can look forward to additional baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a cricket pitch, field house, camping facility, and more.
