Taking into account the beauty of our landscape, the bold decision was made to preserve and respect the natural features of the area. As part of that vision, the community of Sixty West was planned around Sylvan Lake's old railroad trail and a nearly 5-acre forest is preserved as a natural centrepiece. Sixty West's location offers commuters, business owners, snowbirds and busy families to live their best lives; we invite you to call Sylvan Lake home. Our Vision For 2023As phase two begins, we are more excited than ever.
Sixty West has become a community where people are drawn out of their homes by beautiful surroundings; to go for romantic walks by the old railway, bike rides with the family, meet and mix with their neighbours in the park or pavilion – or simply just breathe fresh air. Just as important as the Sixty West residential area, is Waterford Station: 20-acres of commercial and retail. As Phase II begins, we are carrying out the same design vision, with architecturally interesting buildings, a feature pond and an abundance of landscaping throughout. The hope is for it to be not only a beautiful retail centre when completed, but a regional attraction situated next door to Pogadl Park and the new Sylvan Lake Gull's Stadium.
